This blog is about the ancient Japanese warriors known as ninjas. They belong up there with the legend of the Samurais and their history has made it into the 21st century. Ninjas came into being in the 15th century and were used for assassinations, armed combat, espionage, martial art etc.

The ninja tradition was passed down through generations in families dedicated to the art of warfare and formed their own societies where they could perfect their skills to high levels of potency.

Not just knowledgeable in martial art, ninjas were good with poison too and this worked very well in covert operations. Most poisons were organic and were derived either from plants or animals.

The ninjas developed tools to better equip and defend themselves from enemies. Such tools were also used to attack their opponents and sometimes victims.

What many people may not know is that female ninjas existed too and were known as kunoichi.  They were very effective too and were as good as the men if not better.
